Finance Expenditure Control Branch

Finance (Expenditure Control) deals with:

  1. All expendituresanctions relating to Schemes implemented by various Departments.
  2. Yardstick for creation of posts of various categories in the different offices of the State Government.
  3. Sanctions/approval for creation of posts of various categories in different Offices of the State Government In consultation with Finance E.A.
  4. Creation of temporary posts (both gazetted andnongazetted) in consultation with Finance E.A.
  5. Permanent retention oftemporary posts in continuous existence for 5years and above (for gazetted posts only)
  6. Sanction of Re-appropriation,advance from Contingency Fund and acceptance of Supplementary Demand in consultation with Finance E.A.
  7. Surrender of Savings of various Offices and Departments
  8. Up gradation and Re-designation ofposts
  9. Sanction of Discretionary Grants for MLAs
  10. Drawal of fund in AC Bill.

All proposals for expenditure sanction have to come from various Administrative Departments.
